OFFICERS searching for missing man William Lee are asking for anyone who may have seen an elderly man with a small Yorkshire Terrier in the Dosthill area in the last 24 hours to get in touch.
William, aged 79, is from the Wilnecote area and was last seen after leaving his home at around 3:30pm yesterday (16 April).
Following information received by the public, his vehicle was found on Slade Lane, which is near Dosthill Quarry, at around 8:30am this morning.
He is believed to be with his short-haired Yorkshire Terrier and officers have begun an in-depth search of the area, with the assistance of the National Police Air Service.
MISSING: William Lee
William is described as a white male, slim build, 5’6” tall, white hair and wearing a light-coloured jacket, beige jumper and trousers.
Anyone who has seen William or seen a man fitting his description with a Yorkshire Terrier should call Staffordshire Police by calling 101 immediately, quoting incident number 755 of 16 April.
