THIS year’s Warton Music Festival is due to take place this summer from the 19-21 July in the fields of Warton, just outside of Tamworth.
The Hunna have been announced as their main headliner for the weekend, and there is an exciting musical line-up across three stages which will appeal to the whole family. This year there will also be live street art from Tamworth’s very own New Urban Era.
Guests can also enjoy some incredible street food, bars priced at your local pub rates and traditional fairground rides.
Headliners, The Hunna, have established themselves as one of the UK’s most in-demand bands following the release of their hugely successful debut album in the summer of 2016.
Having experienced a rapid rise that saw the band land at #13 in the UK album charts 10 months into their career, The Hunna have gone onto achieve a massive amount which has seen them headline Camden’s prestigious Roundhouse as well as a pioneering moment topping the Festival Republic Stages at the Reading and Leeds Festival.
The band’s Spotify catalog has topped 100 Million streams with over a 1 million monthly listeners worldwide. Previously referred to as ‘Rock’s Next Big Thing’ by Kerrang Magazine, singles ‘Bonfire’ and ‘You & Me’ have helped to sell over 50,000 copies of their debut album ‘100’, making it one of the most successful releases by a UK band in recent times.
Amongst The Hunna, WMF has confirmed performances from The original rude boy – Neville Staple, Stone Foundation, the Antarctic Monkeys and many more. With a variety of music on offer, this festival is bound to cater to all.
The organisers of Warton Music Festival told Tamworth Infomred: “With this being our third year, we are excited to be back with a bigger and better line up and attractions than ever. We are aiming to make the event the biggest in the Midlands and we pride ourselves on being affordable and value for money with something for all.”
Vic Brown from Nue says: “Nue has invited some amazing artists from across the UK to paint at this year’s Warton Music Festival. We can’t wait to see the bands and maybe one or two will get painted – you never know, but we have plenty of options with the awesome line up on stage ”
The full line up will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to our Facebook page.
