WARTON Music Festival 2018 was a hugely successful event which saw over 2000 visitors flocking to the fields of Bentley Farm, close to Tamworth.
Friday night headliners Oasish set the tone for the weekend, with bands including Ryders Creed, The Social Ignition and Grumble Bee picking up the pace ahead of Saturday night’s headline set from indie rock royalty – The Pigeon Detectives.
Sunday followed suit with another sunny day packed full of great live music with sets from Black Bear Kiss, The River Chickens and Dead Man’s Whiskey to entertain the crowds. The festival ended on high note with a set from a world-renowned ska-reggae band –The Dualers.
2018 also saw the addition of a dance tent for the first time in WMF history, featuring an eclectic mix of house, techno, and reggae DJ’s playing all weekend.
With an array of food and drink traders, a traditional fair, Caribbean chill out area and face painting it was a busy weekend packed with fun for families and music fans alike.
