The Wilnecote School Goes Virtual for Year 6 Pupils and Parents

Thursday, 24th September 2020

THIS year, schools across the country are having to come up with creative ways to show all the exciting opportunities available to families.

The Wilnecote School is currently putting together it’s virtual Open Evening to showcase a range of the fantastic opportunities available to students and their families at The Wilnecote School.

From Thursday 1 October Parents will be able to visit to see some of the very best part the curriculum has to offer and some of the enrichment opportunities available for students at this improving secondary school.

Mrs Samantha Ager Assistant Headteacher for Co-Curricular commented:

“2020 really has been a strange year. From lockdown to home-schooling, clapping for the NHS and carers to planning virtual events for students we are yet to meet.

“When I was at school, I took GCSE drama but always knew it wouldn’t be the direction I took for my career but here we are 20+ years later and I am being asked to film a video within my department to showcase our wonderful school.

“This is the start of my 6th year here at Wilnecote and I am so proud of the improvements we have made her and the vision we have for the future.

“I love coming to work each day and truly believe our school is driven by the needs of our students which is the core of what drive us all. ”

The virtual open evening for prospective students and parents will be available from Thursday 1 October via their website
