A LOCAL housebuilder is gearing up for a charity bike ride from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey – a gruelling 105-mile ride, all for a good cause.

Redrow Homes Midlands, which is currently building homes at Amington Garden Village in Tamworth, is supporting the annual Aberdovey Bike Ride to raise funds the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Joining hundreds of cyclists, the team of four, including Andy Cutler, area sales manager, will be donning their Redrow jerseys, and are already gearing up for the big day.

Andy Cutler said: “I’m a keen cyclist and I am really looking forward to taking on a new challenge and raising much-needed for funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Our training is really kicking in now and we are now keen to get on our bikes and get going. It’s going to be tough, but as a team we’ll stick together and support each to ensure we make it to the finish line.”
