Tamworth Hygiene Bank make urgent appeal - can you help?

Wednesday, 1st July 2020

TAMWORTH Hygiene Bank has made an urgent appeal to the public as their stocks are desperately low - and here at Tamworth Informed, we are hoping our readers may be able to help.

During the past 100 days of lockdown, Tamworth Hygiene Bank has received an amazing amount of donated products from generous local people and the Tamworth Round Table Summer Santa appeal has been a significant help for them.

The generosity has meant that they have been able to provide much needed and essential hygiene products to many families, couples and individuals.

But unfortunately, their stocks are desperately low and they are asking for the good people of Tamworth if they can help.

The group has been asked to help provide one hundred families, nominated by local schools, with hygiene packs but at this time, their stocks are too low.

Now they are asking, “Can you help us, help others?”

New, unopened items can be delivered to the Tamworth Self Isolation Support Group bub at Sacred Heart Church, Silver Link Road.

Alternatively, items can be bought via Easho wishlist online and delivered directly to their Tamworth base - you can fo this by ordering here.

They are desperately in need of the following items:

  • Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
  • Shower gel
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving foam/gel
  • Razors
  • Clothes washing powder/liquid/tablets
  • Washing up liquid

You can find out more information about the Tamworth Hygiene Bank on their Facebook page.
