YESTERDAY afternoon (Thursday) West Midlands Ambulance Service and Warwickshire Police were called to reports of a collision outside the Bulls Head Public House on Tamworth Road, Polesworth.
Upon arrival at 4.10pm, it was apparent that only one vehicle was involved.
An ambulance, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a community paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man in cardiac arrest, CPR was already underway.
“Medics immediately began resuscitation attempts and advanced life support was carried out.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
