Three people charged in relation to Tamworth vehicle crimes

THREE people have been charged in connection with a number of vehicle crimes in the Tamworth area, Staffordshire Police have said.

Eighteen thefts across the town have been reported to police over the past week.

Benjamin Griffiths, 21, of Abelia, Amington, is charged with fraud by false representation.

Wayne Snow, 31, of Honeybourne, Belgrave, is charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving without a licence, driving without third party insurance and fraud by false representation.

Emily Weston, 27, of Grove Road, Atherstone, is charged with making off without payment and being driven in a stolen vehicle.

All three offenders are due to appear at Cannock Magistrates Court on 7 September.
