A ‘stinger’ was deployed and as the vehicle attempted to evade officers, it was reversed at speed into unattended stationary vehicles and a police vehicle.

Fortunately, there were no injuries during the incident.

A 'Stinger' device used by Police has hollow spikes which allow air to escape at a controlled rate to bring the vehicle to a stop.
