At around 11.40am this morning, a black Ford Focus was sighted on Thomas Street, at the junction with Glascote Road.

Fortunately, there were no injuries during the incident.

A 'Stinger' device used by Police has hollow spikes which allow air to escape at a controlled rate to bring the vehicle to a stop.
