The Amington reopens after £385k investment

A Bolehall pub, the Amington, has created 20 new jobs locally as it opened its doors to residents again this week, following a £385,000 refurbishment.

The pub restaurant, located on Amington Road, has undergone a total transformation into a Flaming Grill with a focus on providing great value steaks and grills.

Welcoming locals and visitors alike, the Amington reopened on Friday 11th July showcasing its new décor, furniture, and a new chargrill menu featuring steaks and grills, served on hot sizzling skillets.

General manager at the Amington, Shaun Howe said: “Tamworth residents were so excited to see the pub up and running again. The opening night was a real success with great feedback from regulars and visitors alike on the delicious new menu and the fantastic interiors. My team and I look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks.”

Shaun is also looking to recruit 10 new team players to work front of house as well as in the kitchen, he said: “I am on the look-out for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals who want to join our fantastic team at the Amington.”
