TAMWORTH Cornerstone Housing Association (TCHA) has set up a helpline for people who have been affected by the pandemic and especially the latest lockdown.
Many people have found themselves in need of support for the first time. Although there are lots of organisations and statutory agencies in Tamworth ready to help, sometimes people are not sure who to call.
Now, Tamworth Cornerstone hopes to help with this.
The phone line is there to help those who are homeless or worried about becoming homeless and those who need a little help looking for training or work.
If you have been affected by COVID-19, you can call the helpline – if they can’t help, they might be able to put you in touch with someone who can.
TCHA works with a wide range of voluntary agencies and statutory organisations and will put you in contact with the right people. A great think is that if you don’t have much credit on your phone, you can send a text and TCHA will call you back.
The helpline number is 07859 393948.
The phone line is open between 11.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday but you can call anytime and leave a message and TCHA will get back to you.
TCHA is an independent local charity providing supported housing for Tamworth’s vulnerable and homeless young people. If you would like more information or would like to to support our project, please visit www.t-c-h-a.co.uk.
|Here at Tamworth Informed, we want to say a huge thank you to all NHS Staff, Care Workers, Emergency Service Workers, Shop Staff and anyone else helping to keep us safe, healthy, fed, watered or connected to vital services during the last 12 months of the Covid Pandemic. Please stay safe and look after each other.
