TAMWORTH Ladies Choir will be very busy this Christmas, performing on no less than five occasions during December.
Their first performance will be at St Editha’s Church for St Giles Light up a Life event, which starts at 6.00pm on Saturday 1st December. The Choir has sung on many occasions at this event, and this year has two very poignant songs especially for this remembrance service.
Tamworth Co-op has also invited the Choir to sing at its service of Remembrance which is also held at St Editha’s Church on Friday 7th December, starting at 7.00pm.
All are welcome to join in these special services, remembering loved ones.
On Sunday 9th December, Tamworth Ladies Choir are hosting their very popular Afternoon Tea Concert at St Editha’s Church Hall, held at 2.30pm. Tickets may be available still from choir members, but as usual, this concert will be a sellout.
Specsavers have asked the Ladies Choir to sing in outside their shop in Ankerside on Saturday 22nd December, at 11.30am, where shoppers will be able to listen to Christmas songs and carols.
And finally, when most people are finalising their Christmas preparations, the Ladies Choir will be at Lea Marston Hotel on Christmas Eve afternoon, entertaining the guests of the hotel will yet another selection of Christmas songs and carols.
This very busy and entertaining choir welcomes new members at Central Methodist Church each Monday at 7.30pm.
