Tamworth death investigation: Did you see Jason or this car?

STAFFORDSHIRE POLICE are appealing for anyone who saw a blue Skoda Fabia, registration FE57RUA, in the Amington area of Tamworth from 11am on Saturday 2 May.

Detectives also want to hear from anyone who saw Jason Grice in the area of Woodlands Road and Tamworth Road, Amington. He was wearing a grey top, dark Reebok bottoms, white and blue trainers and a grey woollen beanie style hat.

Jason, 28, of Sorrel, Tamworth, suffered serious head injuries during an incident near Haunton, just before 12pm on Saturday 2 May and he sadly died on Sunday 3 May at the University Hospital of Coventry.

Three men, Ross Gill, 24, of Faringdon, Tamworth, Carl Durham, 32, of Spruce, Tamworth, and Carl Villiers, 25 of Sorrel, Tamworth, were charged with kidnap and manslaughter and they appeared before magistrates at Cannock on Monday 4 May. They are remanded to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday 17 July.
