Thursday, 18th October 2018

NEW jobs are being created across the West Midlands, thanks to the growth of national housebuilder Bellway in the area.

Bellway’s West Midlands division, which is now based at Centurion Court in Tamworth, is preparing to start work on four new developments – in Shrewsbury, Stafford, Rolleston on Dove in Staffordshire and Doveridge in Derbyshire.

The company is recruiting staff to carry out construction at these new developments, with opportunities also available for local contractors and supply chain businesses.

Marie Richards, Sales Director for Bellway West Midlands, said the division’s growth reflected the strength of the regional economy and the local housing market.

She said: “We are delighted to be supporting the local jobs market with expansion in the West Midlands, where our business continues to enjoy success.

“These new developments are creating new opportunities both for local workers and contractors and demonstrate the dynamism of the housebuilding industry at the moment.”

Bellway’s West Midlands division is currently building new homes across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Leicestershire, with new developments in Shrewsbury, Stafford, Rolleston on Dove and Doveridge due for launch shortly.
