TAMWORTH-based housebuilder Bellway West Midlands is celebrating more success in a prestigious national industry awards scheme.
Site manager Will Graham, who oversees construction at Barley Fields, off Ashby Road in Tamworth, has won a Seal of Excellence award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) for his high-quality site. It follows on from the Pride in the Job Quality Award he won in the summer.
It’s the second year running that Will has won a Seal of Excellence for his work at Barley Fields – and the fourth year in a row in total that he has been awarded the honour.
Will said: “I’m really honoured to have won a Seal of Excellence award, as it reflects really well on everyone who works at the Barley Fields site, and their attention to detail.
“It takes a real team effort to win one of these and I’d like to thank the whole team here in Tamworth for their hard work and support over the last year.
“It’s great to win an award, but it’s even better to see happy customers moving in – buying a house is the biggest thing most people will ever buy, so it’s really important we get things right for them!”
Judging for the awards is meticulous, beginning a year before the announcement of the first round of winners.
As well as undergoing spot checks on the day-to-day running of their site, each site manager is assessed across 44 areas of site management, from technical knowledge to quality control.
