APPEAL: Man has jaw broken in Tamworth alleyway

POLICE in Tamworth are appealing for witnesses after a man had his jaw broken during an assault in Tamworth.

It is understood that the man was struck during a fight with another man following an argument and his jaw was broken.

The incident took place at around 1800 BST on Tuesday, April 21 in an alleyway in Hayle.

The appeal was made this afternoon, (30 April) on the Tamworth Police Facebook page where they say: “We’re appealing for witnesses after a man had his jaw broken in an assault in Tamworth.

“The incident took place at around 6pm on April 21 in an alleyway in Hayle. The man was struck during a fight with another man following an argument.

“Anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident number 422 of 22 April, direct message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
