YOUNGSTERS will be transported back to the days old when knights were bold at a number of storytelling sessions being held at Tamworth Castle this Bank Holiday Monday.
On Monday August 31, Tamworth Castle will be hosting storytelling sessions throughout the day from 11.30am to 4pm.
The Castle’s storyteller will enchant the young audience with tales of knights, dragons and princesses.
Children will also have the chance to meet Ruby the Castle dragon, dress up and get hands-on with craft activities.
Young visitors are also being invited to get into the spirit of the occasion by coming along dressed in costume – knights, dragons, princesses or whatever takes their fancy.
Cllr Rob Pritchard, Deputy Leader of Tamworth Borough Council, said: “This is a fantastic fun fantasy activity for children during half-term. I would encourage people to bring their children along for this extra-special Tamworth Castle experience.”
Admission costs £7 for adults, £6 for OAPs and other concessions, £4.50 for children age five and above, £2.50 for children aged 2-4 and under twos go free. A family ticket for two adults and two children is also available for £21.
There is no need to pre-book – just come along and listen to the stories.
