School Governor required for William MacGregor School

October 3, 2015

Do you have the time, skills and enthusiasm to get involved in our Governing Body?

William MacGregor is a small primary school in Tamworth and we are looking to recruit 2 Co-Opted (Community) Governors to work as part of an ambitious team to support the Head and Senior Leaders.

The Governing Body works to promote continuous improvement, set the strategic direction of the school and make the most of our budget to ensure our children received the best educational experience throughout their time with us.

You do not need specific qualifications to join us but we are looking for people with previous experience in human resources and performance management if possible although these are not essential criteria.

What we do need is people who can commit to attending approximately 10 evening meetings a year, who can come into school to meet with staff and pupils once a term (during the school day) and who will dedicate time to self development through training and online support.

Mrs Norton

Mrs Norton: Could you support our school?

This volunteer opportunity would be ideal for someone recently retired or able to be flexible during the day but we welcome all applications.
