Man charged with eight offences – including two Tamworth burglaries

A MAN from Birmingham has been charged with burglary, theft and driving offences following an investigation by detectives from Staffordshire Police.

Roy Day, 33, of Oxford Road, Erdington, has been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle dangerously, using a motor vehicle without insurance, driving a motor vehicle without a licence and failing to stop.

The charges relate to two burglaries in Tamworth yesterday (19 March).

He appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme today.
