October 13, 2015

THE rose garden in the Castle Grounds has received a £500 donation from the Rotary Club of Tamworth.

The rose garden was planted in the Castle Grounds in 2012 to mark the Queen’s diamond jubilee.

The Rotary Club of Tamworth has now made a £500 donation towards the upkeep of the rose garden. The generous sponsorship will be marked with a plaque in the garden.

Cllr Michelle Thurgood, Cabinet member for Housing & Waste Management, said: “We are very grateful to the Rotary Club of Tamworth for their very generous contribution and would like to thank them for their ongoing support.”
