Friday, 25th March 2016

A DISTRAUGHT local resident has contacted Tamworth Informed after waking up this morning and discovering their Range Rover Sport had been stolen from outside their house.

At around 5am this morning (Friday 25 March) the house in the Leyfields area, just off Masefield Drive was broken in to and along with a few other items, the keys to the Range Rover were taken.

The thieves then made off from the location not the White Range Rover Sport which is on a private registration number, SU51 NOL.  Side steps were added to the vehicle after purchase.

Offenders entered the property by forcing the lock on the back door; it is also believe that they had attempted to gain entry to the front door of the property first.
