LEADING CBD company, Prime CBD, which is based on Lower Gungate, have announced the launch of the UK’s first ever subscription service for cannabis oil.

With CBD rising in popularity and the industry evolving rapidly, Prime CBD’s customers will now be able to have their favourite CBD products delivered straight to their doorstep.

According to a study published in the Telegraph, adults forget three things a day. Around 15 million Brits will leave a cup of tea to go cold. Meanwhile, 12 million go to the shops only to completely forget what they went for.

The call for subscription services, in many forms, have tapped into this unusual case of the ‘human condition’ and thrived, thanks to our forgetfulness, and Prime CBD are joining the subscription service revolution.

Mark Fletcher, director of Prime CBD said, “We noticed a major pattern in purchasing amongst our loyal customers. They use our products on a day-to-day basis, and regularly repurchase on an almost monthly basis. We all know the annoyance that comes with forgetting to replace something you use often, which is why I want to make life easier for my customers with our brand-new CBD subscription service. As well as offering a great incentive with the loyalty discount, the subscription has no set-up fee and is commitment free. Meaning you can cancel at any time.”

Prime CBD began selling CBD oil in late 2015, before it became the successful business is today. Now, Prime CBD are recognised within the UK as a leading brand and trusted supplier for CBD oil, CBD balm, CBD spray and beauty products. The newly launched subscription service will now offer their customers the chance to purchase their CBD products at a reduced monthly cost, commitment free, and with a 15% loyalty discount.

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of 104 chemical compounds, known as cannabinoids, that can be found in the cannabis plant. Unlike the most well-known cannabinoid, THC (tetrahydrocannabidiol), CBD does not get the user ‘high’ – the sensation most commonly associated with cannabis. Thus, allowing it to be legally sold in the UK.

Fletcher added, “One of the reasons why businesses are opting for subscription-based services, is because it offers the convenience we all need. Subscriptions ensure customers do not run out of a product simply because they forgot to pay. It saves a lot of time and energy in such a busy world.”

With supplements containing CBD now able to be purchased in the UK, and an increased interest from the Great British public, Prime CBD have seen success in their skincare and beauty products, alongside their oils, e-juices, capsules, and sprays. However, Prime CBD urge consumers to only buy from trusted suppliers, registered with the Cannabis Trade Association.
