Police search for three males following Atherstone robbery

POLICE in Wawickshire are looking for three robbers following an incident in Atherstone shortly before 1am.

A family was threatened by the men, who were wearing balaclavas, after they broke into their property on Watling Street at around 12.45 this morning (Monday 15 October).

The offenders left with cash, bank cards, car keys and a white Mercedes.

Detective Inspector Lisa Sears said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for witnesses.

“This was a frightening experience for the family and we would urge anyone who has information to contact us.”
