Police appeal for witnesses to collision in Mancetter

WARWICKSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Atherstone in the early hours of Saturday 1 April.

The collision happened in Nuneaton Road, Mancetter, at the junction of Grange Road and Mancetter Road, at 00:30am on Saturday and involved a motorbike and a car.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries. The car, which is thought to be a blue coloured Volvo, failed to stop.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 19 of 1 April 2017.
