Police appeal after driver, 27, dies in M6 Collision

A 27-year-old man has died following a collision on the M6 in Warwickshire.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened at around 4.35am this morning (Monday 8 October) between junctions two and three on the northbound side.

The collision involved two cars and a lorry. The driver of a Ford Focus was sadly declared dead at the scene.

Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “On arrival, sadly it was clear that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“A man from a light goods vehicle was assessed but was discharged.  A number of other motorists at the scene were uninjured.”

Any witnesses are asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident 25 of 8 October 2018.
