SOUTH Staffs Water are urging it’s customers to not use water for anything which is not essential after it has suffered from major supply problems caused by the weather.
Following the recent freeze, South Staffordshire Water are saying that they are experiencing very high levels of demand for water due to a large number of burst pipes and multiple leaks.
They say that they are currently aware of issues in the B77, WS15, WS11, WS7, B70 and DY6 postcode areas.
South Staffs Water say that by asking customers to not use water for anything that isn’t essential, it will make a real difference and help them to ensure they maintain supplies to as many customers as possible.
Our teams continue to work through the night to identify & repair leaks across our network. We apologise to customers affected & thank you for your patience. Updates will be available online overnight & our team will be back on twitter from 7am. For emergencies call 0800 389 1011

A Spokesperson has said: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience, we’re working hard to resolve this as soon as possible.”
They ask that if you see a leak in the road or footpath to call them on 0800 389 1011 or tweet them at @SthStaffsWater
