WORLD renowned photographer Dafna Yosha, launched her very personal and emotional first solo exhibition at Tamworth Library yesterday (Saturday).
We are very pleased to say that we were there to speak to her before the exhibition opened, as you can see in the emotional interview below, talking about her exhibition entitled ‘A personal exposure’.
The exhibition shows both amazing street photography and also covers the difficult subject of her husband of 18 years tragically losing the battle to cancer – it really is ‘a personal exposure’.
Dafna is a published, award-winning photographer from Israel and she has chosen Tamworth Library to launch her European tour before she moves on to Germany, The Netherlands, Austria and France.
When Dafna arrived in Tamworth Library it was the first time she had seen this set of photographs printed and framed as she had only previously seen them in a magazine.
Below, you can see Dafna look through some of her photos and the reaction this has. You can also hear her personal statement which is read out by Edna.
Speaking after her visit to the exhibition, Edna said: “Be prepared to take an emotional journey! Read the explanation if you need to but open your eyes to the story and your heart will do the rest!”
You can see the exhibition on the first floor at Tamworth Library until Saturday 5 May.
