Can you help identify this Tamworth intruder?
POLICE are appealing for help to identify a man who tried to trick, and then forced his way into a Tamworth pensioner’s home.
The elderly woman answered the door at her home in Parkfield Crescent on 9 December 2017 at around 9am.
A man, described as white, around 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall with a muscly physique, told her he was from the council and wanted to do some work. He is believed to be in his early 40s and was wearing black clothing.
When the woman said she couldn’t afford the work the man forced his way into the house. He left empty-handed and did not harm the woman, but said he would return when she received her pension. He left shortly afterwards, driving away in a small white van.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may know who this man is, or witnessed the incident. If you have any information or please call Staffordshire Police on 101 and refer to incident number 339 of December 9.
