WARWICKSHIRE Police have released more information and called for witnesses to come forward following the tragic incident this morning (Wednesday).
At around 2.45am, police were informed a pedestrian had been hit by a black Scania lorry on the motorway.
Sadly, the pedestrian, a man believed to be in his twenties, died as a result of the collision.
No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
Road closures were in place whilst emergency services were in attendance. Both carriageways were fully reopened by around 11.45am this morning.
