ARE you still seeking a spectacularly good Halloween scare?
Lure your friends and family to experience the spooktacular Haunted Castle where daytime family fun makes way for frightful nighttimes and spooky selfies until 10 pm on selected dates.
Three sets of attractions with increasing scare factors make it easy for visitors of all ages to find the best thrill for them this Halloween; Scaredy Squires, Daring Dukes and Brave Knights.
Scaredy Squires can wander through the Haunted Hollows woodland trails, weave their way through the Horrible Histories Maze or head over to the Dead Centre Stage for live-action performances, stories and shows.
Daring Dukes might seek a thrill in the brand new Escape Room – an actor led attraction set within the medieval gaol – or venture into the Castle’s centuries-old walls to the House of Wax scare maze.
Those who fancy themselves Brave Knights (over 10 years only, parental discretion advised) can try to keep their cool in the Castle Dungeon, a live actor experience which plunges visitors into the deathly darkness of the Middle Ages when the people of Warwick were at the mercy of the plague. The top scare factor belongs to Seance, a spectacle exclusive to Warwick which uses innovative binaural spatial audio technology to share spirit’s stories of life ‘on the other side’.
With the mighty trebuchet firing twice daily, birds of prey circling overhead and castle characters sharing spooky stories around every corner, the Haunted Castle is the real deal this Halloween, with something for all the family.
Halloween at the Castle runs until 4 November, for more information on this year’s eerie events and ticket booking, go to www.warwick-castle.com
