Middelton Hall, just outside Tamworth is looking for volunteers to help them marshal events on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
The Middleton Hall team is looking for bright, polite and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with the public and being outdoors to join the team of Event Marshals welcoming visitors to Middleton Hall and supporting the smooth running of fund raising events at the venue.
Middleton Hall is dependent on the income from public events to continue the restoration and conservation work at the beautiful historic venue. The key to the success of the events is accommodating visitors quickly to the site and signposting them to all the unique historic and conservation features in the Hall and gardens, and more Event Marshals are needed to make this happen.
Jo Walker, General Manager, said: “Our Event Marshals create that all important first impression of the Hall – so vital to the success of any event. Visitors tell us that it’s the warm, professional welcome they get from volunteers at Middleton Hall which makes them return. We need cheerful, polite people to welcome visitors to the site, help park cars quickly and efficiently and talk visitors through what is available on the site and at the event.”
If you have two hours to spare on any Sunday or Bank Holiday through the year, you will be joining a great team, you will get to enjoy the rest of the event for free, travelling expenses are paid and free drinks provided.
You don’t need any experience, just energy and a smile and you will be given the appropriate training and safety wear.
