Junior Darts Academy to come to Tamworth

TAMWORTH is to get it’s very own Junior Darts Academy thanks to the hard work of local darts enthusiasts and a local business.

With the upstairs room in Dolphin Public House as their HQ, Tamworth Junior Darts Academy aim is to educate juniors, aged 8 – 18 in the sport of Darts.

They say that this will not only lead to an improvement in their mathematics but also their social skills and sportsmanship.

The Acadamy is run by local darts enthusiasts Mark Mcloughlin and Cliff O’Connor; all of their coaches are DBS checked and are certified coaches

The group meets each Monday evening between 7:30pm – 9 pm at the Dolphin Public House on Glascote Road and anyone interested in attending is encouraged to email instructorbadger@hotmail.com to ensure there is room on the night.

The academy is affiliated with the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) who are partnered with Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), Professional Darts Players Association (PDPA), Midas tv and Winmau.
