A TAMWORTH man has been jailed for a number of driving and drug offences, as well as handling stolen goods.
Jamie Jones, 27 of Raygill, Stonydelph was found guilty of handling stolen goods (an offence under the theft act), driving whilst disqualified, driving with no insurance and possession of cannabis.
The offences relate to his arrest by the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit.
Jone’s was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment and ordered to pay £115.00 victim surcharge.
Derbyshire Police say that this was Jone’s 9th conviction for the offence of Driving Whilst Disqualified.
