The incident occurred on the slip road of junction 10, northbound at around 3.55pm. A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car that had been in a collision with a lorry.
“A man driving the car was found in cardiac arrest and resuscitation attempts were carried out. Advanced life support took place at the scene but unfortunately, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead.”
The thoughts and prayers of Tamworth Informed are with the family and friends of the Man and all the people involved in the incident.

R.i.p to all this tragic event effects, far to many accidents of late, x
Poor man & his family. It’s a nightmare that stretch with the lorries. I have been cut up so many times by a lorry overtaking another & can’t get the speed up. X

Don’t blame lorry drivers, they keep the world going. Give them space. Keep your distance respect them when trying to over take. Stay back stop speeding. Give them a chance……if your in a hurry get the train. Let them do their jobs ….. !!!!
When i hear stories like this it always fills me with great sadness. The person who has died is someones loved one. I know we live in a fast pasted world now and we’re always rushing here and rushing there especially when we want to get home from a long or hard day. The old saying is “its better to be 10 mins late in this world than a life time to early in the next” morrall of the story SLOW DOWN GUYS. Get home safe to your family ALWAYS. RIP xx
Well said.
Indeed it’s not the unsafe roads it’s the unsafe decision that’s made.
Thoughts go out to all the poor mans family and friends RIP
xx

To the 3 people who have ‘liked’ this story - can I ask why ?
Because ‘Liking’ a story doesn’t necessarily mean it is the contents they like. It is a way to add it to their wall for their friends to see, also an appreciation of being bought the news.
Personally I would ‘share’ the item if I wanted friends to see. Also I wouldn’t ‘like’ an item of bad news - despite appreciating that you carry out a good job with your Facebook page.
It’s not something I do either but can see why woke do
