AN investigation has been launched by Police after a house fire in a Two Gates home has left one woman requiring emergency care.
Reports came into our newsroom that emergency crews rushed to the scene shortly after 6.00pm this evening (Sunday).
We initially reported that this fire was in Parkfield Crescent but it has now been confirmed that the incident is in Parkfield Cose.
At the peak of the blaze, three fire appliances were in attendance, from Tamworth, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield.
It has now been confirmed by police that the incident has required one woman to be taken to Good Hope Hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Police are now asking for anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 469 of 6 January 2019.

Reports have come into the Tamworth Informed news desk, stating that firefighters are in attendance at the residential property in Parkfield Crescent, Two Gates.
Three fire appliances are in attendance, from Tamworth, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield. Officers from Staffordshire Police and staff from West Midlands Ambulance Service are also in attendance.
We now know that the fire is in fact in Parkfield Close and not Parkfield Crescent as we earlier reported.
Staffordshire Police has confirmed that officers from their response team are currently on the scene and working with other emergency services under their JESIP protocols.

Staffordshire Police has confirmed that they have launched an investigation and that a woman has been hurt in the fire.
