DOZENS of homes on the North side of town have been left with no water this morning, Sunday 23 October.
A burst water main on Comberford Road has left homes in the area with either low water pressure or no water.
South Staffs Water were made aware of the problem shortly after 6am and are currently attempting to reinstate supply.
Originally an update was expected at 9am but the company ade still working on fixing the problem.
A further update is expected after 2pm.
A spokesperson for South Staffs Water has said: “We are aware that there is a burst water main in Comberford Road in Tamworth , causing low pressures and a loss of water supply .
“Our engineers are on route to undertake repairs.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and ask you for your patience while we deal with the situation.”
