High Street Cash Machine attacked by raiders

A CASH machine on a High Street in Tamworth has been attacked by raiders, resulting in a store being closed and Police being in attendance.

The Tesco Express Store on High Street in Dosthill, Tamworth is sealed off by Police this morning as an examination and underway.

It is understood that at some point over night, raiders have attacked the cash machine on the forecourt of the Petrol Station.

Extensive damage can be seen to the cash machine, along with the surrounding building; which stands at the junction of Hedging Lane.

The Esso branded Forecourt of the Dosthill store has recently been refurbished and the store is open to generally open to customers between 6am and Midnight.

It is not clear at this time as to when the store will reopen.
