A former opticians on Colehill in the Town Centre is to re-open as a coffee shop.
The former Optical Espress store at 11 Colehill which currently sits vacant is to reopen as Tamworth’s latest coffee shop. This time, not a big chain but an independently run, new start-up Coffee Revolution.
The Grade II listed building has been given permission for change of use from A1 (shops) to A3 (restaurants and cafes) and will be altered inside to increase the trading area by the removal of a stud partition wall to provide just over 59 Sq m of space.
The new coffee shop plans to employ two part-time staff and open seven days a week, 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday and Bank Holiday.
