Drayton Manor Park gears up for May bank holiday with new annual pass announcement

Thursday, 29th April 2021

STAFFORDSHIRE-based family attraction, Drayton Manor Park, has launched a new annual pass for the 2021 season, just in time for the May bank holiday.

The announcement comes at an exciting time for the park, as it gears up for a May bank holiday weekend to remember, with guests being strongly advised to book early as capacity is limited. This bank holiday will be the first the park has been able to celebrate in over eight months.

Guests can purchase the new pass in advance or upgrade on the day, and in return get 365 days of fun from just £65. The passes are valid for 12 months and can be used every day the park is open, paying for themselves in just three visits.

The 365 day pass is on sale now, as the family-favourite theme park gets another year of thrills, laughs and Thomas Land activities underway, starting with the first May bank holiday.

Annual pass holders can enjoy a year of fun with over 100 rides and attractions, from adrenaline staples such as Maelstrom and Pandemonium, to family-favourites such as the Accelerator and Polperro Express – the park’s own miniature railway train.

Drayton Manor Park is home to Europe’s only Thomas Land, comprising 25 Thomas & Friends™ rides and attractions suitable for children and adults of all ages, from tot-friendly favourites to an exhilarating mini coaster for the young and young-at-heart.

Families can also learn about a variety of endangered animals at Drayton Manor Park’s conservation Zoo, home to over 500 animals of all shapes and sizes, including a Sumatran tiger, red pandas and spider monkeys.

Annual pass holders also enjoy a host of additional benefits at the park, including unlimited entry to the Magical Christmas event, discounted tickets for family and friends and free car parking throughout the year.

The park’s new Adventure Cove area is also set to open soon, featuring new-look rides and attractions. The addition is part of a significant investment following the Looping Group’s purchase of the park, which aims to introduce several exciting new elements to the park’s family-friendly offering.

William Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor Park, said:

“After a tough 12 months, we’re all looking forward to a 2021 season to remember here at Drayton Manor!

“We’re gearing up to enjoy our full events calendar this year, and the annual pass is the best way to get involved – it encompasses everything from Summer of Fun to our More Treat Than Trick event at Halloween.

“It’s especially exciting for us to be inviting guests into the park, which has seen a huge investment not only in the look and feel, but with brand new rides and attractions coming, which will be available in a matter of weeks!”
