TAMWORTH’S Drayton Manor Park is inviting all serving and retired military personnel in the British Armed Forces to experience its award-winning Magical Christmas, offering free entry to the park for its festive season as a token of appreciation.*
There is no need to book, military personnel can simply show relevant ID when they visit the park, which will be beautifully adorned with sparkling decorations as far as the eye can see, on selected dates from 17th November – 31st December, when the Magical Christmas event begins, and enjoy a well-deserved day out with their families.
To add to the festivities, there will also be a spellbinding firework display every evening for guests to enjoy, sweet treats including mince pies and delicious mulled wine for mum and dad to keep the winter frost at bay and meet and greets with Santa’s reindeers at the park’s 15-acre Zoo.
Not to mention Europe’s only Thomas Land, an incredibly themed area within the park based on the popular Thomas & Friends™ children’s TV show, as it becomes the ultimate winter wonderland, with guaranteed snow fall and festive live shows.
William Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Park said: “We’re so proud to show our support for the service men and women who go above and beyond for our country.
We can’t thank them enough for all that they do and know that work for them often means time away from their friends and family, so we’d like to invite them to Magical Christmas to enjoy some all-important family time with their loved ones at Drayton Manor Park.”
Accepted IDs include a valid Military Personal Card, a MOD Card, Band of Brothers Card or Defence Privilege Card (only for serving or ex-serving members of the armed forces) or an Armed Forces Discount Card for serving personnel. Veterans can also show a Band of Brothers Card or Defence Privilege Card or a Leaving Certificate, Proof of War Pension or Armed Forces Compensation Card.
*This offer provides free entry to the park only during Drayton Manor’s festive season on selected dates from 17th November – 31st December. Father Christmas meet and greets are excluded but can be secured by calling 0844 472 1950 to arrange in advance of the visit. Please note, Father Christmas leaves on Monday 24th December.
