Did you witness collision on the A38 at Fradley?

POLIICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision on the A38 at Fradley this morning. (27th April)

Staffordshire Police received a call just after 7.15am this morning reporting a multiple vehicle collision on the A38 Fradley Lane, towards Lichfield.

The collision involved 5 vehicles, a black Corsa and vauxhall Vivaro, a blue BMW, white Audi and a white Lexus.

A woman was removed from a vehicle and taken to hospital with suspected neck and back injuries. A male was also taken to hospital complaining of back pain. At this stage none of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.

A male from another vehicle received slight injuries but was not taken to hospital.

The road was blocked whilst the incident was dealt with and had re-opened by 9am, with officers directing the traffic.
