Did Gordon Ramsay make a guest appearance at TrophyStore’s Annual Summer BBQ?

TO celebrate another record-breaking year, Tamworth based TrophyStore.co.uk rewarded their hard working and well deserving staff with a Summer BBQ and a ‘celebrity’ guest.

The BBQ was held at their premises on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate on Wednesday 18th July.

BBQ chefs Chris & Steve were in for a grilling, and the rest of the staff were highly amused, when special guest, Gordon Ramsay lookalike Martin Jordan made a surprise appearance.

Warehouse supervisor Jo Smith commented “we have just come to the end of our busiest ever peak season and a few hours off work to enjoy a BBQ was a great way to reward all the staff. The surprise visit from Gordon was just the icing on the party cake!”

Chef Ramsay kept the Trophy Store staff entertained for over two hours with his witty one-liners whilst posing for lots of photos and personal videos with everyone.

Martin Jordan is an experienced performer with numerous regular TV shows appearances. He has even been employed to double for Gordon Ramsay himself!

“We joked about hiring a celebrity chef to do the cooking” commented Company Director Maria Noctor, “and then a few weeks before the event we came across Martin. He was absolutely amazing and so convincing that lots of friends and family who saw photos of the event on social media thought he was the real Gordon Ramsay.”

Overall the BBQ was a great success , the team enjoyed a few hours rest in the glorious sunshine while they tucked into lots of tasty burgers and hotdogs.

TrophyStore.co.uk is the UK’s largest online retailer of trophies, medals and awards. The business was founded in 2009 by Maria and Steve Noctor and has posted significant growth every year since it was founded.
