TAMWORTH’s funniest pantomime adventure has a new home this Christmas.
Dick Whittington comes to Landau Forte Academy QEMS from 13 – 23 December – oh yes it does!
Tamworth Pantomime Company manager, Alex Farrell, said: “We are so excited about this year’s show. The script is hilarious and the local actors are incredible; we cannot wait to show the people of Tamworth what we can do in our new theatre.”
“We have spent the last two years performing in a Big Top in Tamworth Castle Grounds because of the closure of the Assembly Rooms, but this year we decided to do something different and completely take over the fantastic theatre at QEMS – you won’t believe what we’ve done with it!”
This year’s show stars former ITV newsreader, now BBC WM presenter, Llewela Bailey, as the Spirit of the Bells, as well as Tamworth performer Olivia Shepherd as Cat and everyone’s favourite baddie, Terry Batham, as the terrifying King Rat.
Dick Whittington runs from 13 – 23 December at Landau Forte Academy QEMS.
Tickets are £14 for adults, £9 for children and concessions and £42 for a family ticket.
