AUTHORS of Crime and Thriller novels came together at the Globe Inn to share their experience and expertise on writing and publishing last night, Thursday 8 March.
The event, part of this year’s Tamworth Literary Festival, also gave the audience the opportunity to chat to and purchase signed copies of the authors’ books.
The panel, comprising Rob Sinclair, AA Abbott and Darren Young, was quizzed by former Policeman Gary Hyde and included questions from the audience. The discussion was wide-ranging and touched on how the authors were inspired to write; the creation of their characters; research; how they write; getting published and dealing with writers’ block.
Anthony Poulton – Smith, from Tamworth Literary Festival said: “The event was excellent – the authors worked well together and shared some very candid insights into writing and publishing, the audience showed enthusiasm for the genre and the discussion was expertly led by Gary.”
