Free Creative Network launched for local artists and venues

LOCAL artists and venues are invited to join a new and exciting hub to bring creative people and event organisers together in Tamworth.

Free to sign up, Tamworth Creative Network is an online platform developed by Tamworth Borough Council’s Arts & Events team, designed to give artists in the area an opportunity to join a community of artists, organisers, venues, hirers, suppliers, facilitators and organisations through an online database, as well as a platform to express who you are and what you do.

The network will be shared with key partners including Tamworth Cultural Education Partnership (CEP), who work as part of the National Cultural Education Challenge with children and young people aspiring to achieve within the arts and culture sectors.

§Tamworth Creative Network will allow people to discover the tools to plan and manage their own events as well as guidance on how to seek funding opportunities.

The platform is designed to raise the profile of artists in the local area; create networking opportunities; increase art programming in Tamworth; support development; provide a communication tool for the education sector and cultural providers and grow strong relationships between artists, venues and the community.
