IN recognition of local heroes who may be working over the festive bank holidays, Twycross Zoo is giving the gift of twelve days of free entry to all serving Armed Forces, Emergency Services and NHS staff this December.
From Saturday 1st December through to Wednesday 12th December every hero that presents their I.D at the conservation charity’s ticket office will be granted free entry to the zoo for the day.*
Twycross Zoo’s Chief Operating Officer, Karen Clarke, said: “Christmas is a busy time of year for everyone but especially those in our armed forces, emergency services and NHS. We want to acknowledge and celebrate all the hard work and dedication these employees provide to support our country and communities and help them to enjoy a great Christmas as a family.
“We look forward to welcoming those individuals and their families to see The Great Brick Safari and enjoy our Santa experience on selected dates too.”
This Christmas there is so much to see and do at the zoo – more than just the usual two minute Santa visit. Join in with Santa’s storytime, meet Santa and pets, take a stroll with Santa and William the Donkey and Santa’s Key Tree makes a welcome return too!
