Volunteers, Businesses and Politicians gather to celebrate Staffordshire

STAFFORDSHIRE was celebrated this week in Westminster as Volunteers, Businesses and Politicians, including Government Ministers gathered to showcase what the amazing County has to offer.

The event was held on Tuesday 30 October and saw the best of Staffordshire travel to the House of Commons to showcase what the County has to offer.

In a jam-packed room we spoke to a number of attendees, including a number of Ministers, six of whom we questioned.

We also took the opportunity to speak to other Members of Parliament including Bill Cash MP, Chair of the European Scrutiny Committee and Member of Parliament for Stone; Michael Fabricant MP, Member of Parliament for Lichfield and of course Chris Pincher MP who is Deputy Chief Whip (Treasurer of HM Household) and Member of Parliament for Tamworth.

Members of Parliament weren’t the only people we spoke to however, we also spoke to a number of volunteers and representatives from local organisations and businesses.
