OFFICERS investigating an incident of criminal damage at Kingsbury Water Park in Kingsbury have released photos men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred at around 8pm on Thursday 6 April 2017 in the Gnome Village next to the Echills Wood Railway, which runs through the park. More than 100 gnomes were destroyed in the incident.
PC Scott Ramsell said: “This was mindless vandalism, there’s no other way to describe it. The Echills Wood Railway is run by volunteers and all the gnomes were kindly donated. They bring pleasure to thousands of people who go on the railway every year.
“I’m sure someone will recognise these men and I’d urge them to contact us.”
If anyone recognises the men in the photos or has any information that could help police with their enquiries they can call 101 and quote incident 103 of 7 April 2017.
Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
