CCTV appeal following theft from Tamworth store

Friday, 12th July 2019

OFFICERS have released a CCTV image of two men they want to speak to in connection with a theft at a shopping centre in Tamworth.

Two men entered Ministry of Design in Ankerside Shopping Centre at around 4.30pm on 15 June and selected over £1,200 worth of items and took them to the counter.

When processing the payment for the items, the men entered a specific code believed to be a scam and the payment appeared to go through.

The pair left the store with the items before staff members realised the payment failed.
