OFFICERS from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Burton upon Trent on Tuesday.

At just after 7.10pm on 15 January, police were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision involving a white Ford Transit van, a blue Renault Megane and blue Audi TT on Henhurst Hill, Needwood.

Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old man died at the scene.

The man who sadly lost his life has been named as Steffan Evans from Burton upon Trent.

Specialist officers are supporting his family and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

Officers are particularly interested in anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles travelling before the incident, possibly along the A50 towards Derby.

Anyone with information or anyone who has dashcam footage is asked to email quoting incident number 698 of 15 January.
